Accessibility in Action
About the Show
Accessibility in Action is an empowering new show about people living with disabilities. Each week, host Joanne Smith welcomes athletes, artists, celebrities, and political and business leaders who have refused to be labelled disabled and prospered. Featured guests demonstrate the latest in technological aids and devices and the show goes into the field, showcasing the will-power of real people who use these technologies to enhance their lives.
Accessibility in Action explores topics of disability rarely discussed, from raising blind or deaf children to living on limited incomes. Each episode offers interactive advice aimed at breaking down barriers.
