Accessible Media Inc. (AMI) is a not-for-profit multimedia organization serving more than five million Canadians who are blind, partially sighted, deaf, hard of hearing, mobility or print restricted.  Operating three broadcast services, AMI-tv and AMI-audio in English and AMI-télé in French, AMI’s mission is to make accessible media for all Canadians. 

We are currently looking for a Bilingual Marketing Data Specialist to join our Marketing and Communications team in Toronto. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the Marketing and Communications department’s by collecting and analysing data from multiple sources and compiling it into reports.

Responsibilities

1.    Support the Marketing Department’s strategic objectives by collecting, analyzing and interpreting data from web, mobile and social analytics, as well as broadcast data
2.    Provide insights on marketing campaigns by analyzing performance metrics and proactively suggesting and evaluating new opportunities for campaign growth and improvement
3.    Develop, manage and distribute dashboards on performance: Platforms, Campaigns, Content, Corporate KPI’s
4.    Ascertain behavioral response to marketing initiatives by designing, tagging, and tracking web analytics solutions
5.    Develop and document best practices and build process improvements to optimize the overall analytics functions
6.    Trend key data to support forecasts/targets 
7.    Improve and refine existing channel forecasting tools
8.    Understand and interpret data to present conclusions and implications in simple language using charts, graphs or spreadsheets
9.    Provide user and content intelligence support by collaborating with cross functional teams and stakeholders, including Digital Marketing, Program Producers and Developers, Digital Media
10.Create automated reporting and perform exploratory data analysis to help drive key marketing decisions
11.Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Requirements

•    Bilingual in English and French
•    Undergraduate diploma or degree in a related field (business analysis, marketing or equivalent) 
•    Minimum 2 years of analytics experience. Broadcast/Multimedia experience is an asset
•    Excellent analytical and organizational skills including the ability to identify patterns within data metrics
•    Proficient with business intelligence, reporting tools and data visualization
•    Strong business acumen to interpret/extrapolate business implications in both markets (Anglophone and Francophone)
•    Strong communication, interpersonal, influential skills (written and verbal) to be able to interact with different functions and levels within the organization
•    Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting, flexible, with time management skills to meet deadlines
•    Detail oriented, with strong math skills
•    Knowledgeable and proficient at using industry standard analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Facebook Insights etc.)
•    Strong SQL skills, and familiarity with Sharepoint and PowerBI
•    Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
