(AMI) announced today that Robert Pearson, the organization’s recently designated Accessibility Officer, has been appointed as a representative on one of the subcommittees overseen by the Federal Communications Commission’s Disability Advisory Committee (DAC) in the United States.

AMI-audio launches original weekly news and information program

Accessible Media Inc. (AMI) announced today that its AMI-audio channel will kick off 2015 with a new weekly program called The Guardian This Week. Hosted by veteran broadcaster Jim Van Horne, this one hour program will feature a compilation of the most current news stories from around the globe.

AMI-tv hires new full-time reporter

Accessible Media Inc. (AMI) announced today the appointment of Dave Brown as full-time reporter for AMI-tv based out of Ottawa. Brown, who is legally blind, has been working in the broadcast industry since 2009.
