AMI-audio launches original weekly news and information program

Accessible Media Inc. (AMI) announced today that its AMI-audio channel will kick off 2015 with a new weekly program called The Guardian This Week. Hosted by veteran broadcaster Jim Van Horne, this one hour program will feature a compilation of the most current news stories from around the globe. From hard-hitting news and investigative pieces to light-hearted, human interest stories The Guardian This Week will offer a wide variety of engaging content delivered by world-renowned journalists.

"In addition to its UK newspaper, the Guardian is one of the world's most popular news websites, reflecting many of the views and values of our audience,” explains John Melville, Vice President of Programming and Production for AMI-tv and AMI-audio. “We are thrilled to provide our listeners with the latest world news, commentary and analysis brilliantly read and packaged into an accessible one-hour show.

The Guardian This Week airs Saturdays at 10 am, 3 and 6 pm as well as Sundays at 7 am, 1 and 8 pm. Check your local listings for the AMI-audio channel near you.
