Blind Sighted with Kelly MacDonald returns for season three on AMI-tv

Accessible Media Inc. (AMI) announced today that its original program Blind Sighted with Kelly MacDonald will return for a third season beginning September 14.

Produced by Breakthrough Entertainment, Blind Sighted is a 10-episode series that documents the larger than life personality of Kelly MacDonald as he checks new experiences off his bucket list, takes on a variety of dares and shares his perspective on the world. Kelly was born with Leber Congenital Amaurosis and is blind, but never hesitates to take on challenges and step out of his comfort zone.

“Kelly has a contagious zest for life that really resonates with our audience,” says John Melville, Vice-President of Programming and Production for AMI-tv. “We’re delighted to be working with Breakthrough Entertainment once again to share his sense of humour and adventure with Canadians of all abilities.”

This season Kelly will participate in a series of dares, like eating unbelievably hot chicken wings or exploring the ancient art of sumo wrestling, in a new segment called Dare Me. He’ll also continue to work on his Bucket List from season two, trying new experiences that he’s always found intriguing like taking to the skies to see if he can pilot a Harvard Aircraft, becoming a stunt driver, dropping some beats as a DJ, and more. Plus, he climbs on top of his Soapbox each episode to share his unique perspective on a variety of disability related issues.

Blind Sighted with Kelly MacDonald airs Thursdays at 8:30 p.m. on AMI-tv, beginning September 14 when Kelly goes axe throwing and tries his hand at precision shooting with a skilled marksman. Full episodes will be available online at AMI.ca after the initial broadcast. Check your local listings for the AMI-tv channel in your area.
