AMI-audio takes home gold in the Big Apple

Accessible Media Inc. (AMI) announced today that its AMI-audio channel received a gold medal last night at the New York Festivals International Radio Program Awards.

AMI-audio was recognized in the History documentary category for a piece that aired on its Contact program entitled, “All Those Years Ago”; a special on the 50th Anniversary of the Beatles’ arrival in North America. The program was produced by Joe Lamanna, Paul Daniel and Michael Iantorno.

“This is a very proud moment for AMI-audio,” says John Melville, Vice-President of Programming and Production at AMI. “To be acknowledged by our international peers at such a prestigious event is incredibly rewarding and further strengthens our commitment to produce unique, engaging, top-quality productions for our blind and low vision audience.”
