AMI celebrates Aboriginal Day with APTN’s Aboriginal Day Live 2017

National Aboriginal Day is a day for all Canadians to recognize and celebrate the unique heritage, diverse cultures, and outstanding achievements and contributions of First Nations, Inuit and Métis Peoples. It was first celebrated on June 21, 1996.

Both AMI-audio and AMI-tv are marking this celebration in an exciting, accessible way!

AMI-audio will be live on location in Winnipeg, Manitoba on June 21, from 3 to 7 p.m. ET (2 to 6 p.m. CT) joining in Aboriginal Day festivities at The Forks. AMI-tv will carry APTN’s broadcast live with described video

AMI-tv is once again partnering with APTN to celebrate Aboriginal Day Live! For the first time tune in for seven hours of live described programming from across the country June 21, from 7 p.m. ET to 2 a.m. ET.
