Programming Values
Our commissioned content entertains and informs the general population of Canada, with an emphasis on including those from the blind, partially sighted and/or the invisible or visible disability community.
- We develop unique, original programs offering audiences entertaining and informative experiences that cannot be found anywhere else.
- We showcase individuals with disabilities in prominent, creative roles, giving our community a voice and presents our perspective to the general population, fulfilling AMI’s Mission and Vision statements.
- We produce content with Integrated Described Video, which enables people who are blind or partially sighted to have the same content experience as everyone else.
Our Audience
AMI-tv provides a wide variety of programs that appeal to Canadians of all abilities. From comedies to dramas, DIY projects to employment opportunities, original documentaries to movies and live events, AMI-tv has something for everyone.
