AMI This Week to embark on Canadian road trip

Accessible Media Inc. announced today that its flagship original program AMI This Week will hit the road in August, stopping in four major Canadian cities to shoot on location episodes.

AMI This Week is a weekly magazine-style show hosted by Molly Burke and Anthony McLachlan. The show features events and interesting stories from across the country – making a four-stop Canadian expedition the perfect way to highlight communities from coast to coast. The tour will stop in Edmonton, Halifax, Ottawa and Vancouver with Molly and Anthony teaming up with local AMI bureau presenters along the way.

“We are so excited to take our show on the road for the first time,” says Michelle Dudas, senior producer for AMI This Week. “By being on location we’ll really be able to delve into what makes each of the four cities unique and special. Plus, we can’t wait to meet some local fans!”

The AMI This Week tour will kick off in Edmonton on August 5 with Molly, Anthony and presenter Wade Brown visiting the historic Fort Edmonton Park. Moving on to Halifax August 11, Molly will be joined by special co-host Laura Bain to check out Pier 21, the Halifax Public Gardens and Citadel Hill. In Ottawa on August 16 and 17 Anthony and special co-host Dave Brown have planned a sports filled day visiting the Target Golf Centre, Lansdowne Park where the Ottawa Redblacks and Ottawa Fury play, and practicing yoga on Parliament Hill. Lastly, in Vancouver on August 29, Molly and Anthony will spend a day in picturesque Stanley Park with presenter Grant Hardy.

Viewers in the area are encouraged to drop by the shoot locations to meet Molly, Anthony and the team. Follow AMI This Week on Twitter for updates. Catch up on past episodes of AMI This Week online at AMI.ca.
