Richard Harlow

Richard Harlow is an actor, stand-up comedian, motivational speaker, CNIB mentor, politically active NDP disability rights activist, fashion model, professional painter, gamer, VIU outrigger paddler team member and trains in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu through Island Top Team. Did we forget to mention that he is blind? Richard lost his sight in Spring 2010 due to a rare optic nerve disease called Lebers Hereditary Optic Neuropathy. At the time, he was attending Emily Carr University art school and has not let anything stop him from accomplishing his goals in life. “Blindness is not the end, its only a new chapter in your life,” he says during Harlow's AppTV profile interview. You can find his paintings at Blind Eye Works on Facebook.

Tasia Custode

Tasia Custode is a TV Host and Video Producer with over a decade of broadcast experience. Whether online, on the radio, or on TV, Tasia has honed her skills both in front and behind the camera, and runs her own production company, Brio Media. When she's not busy being a #ladyboss, this Canadian expat can be found traveling the globe and heard shouting "Go Habs Go" from a rooftop at any given moment. She currently lives in Scottsdale, Arizona with her American husband and Canadian cat. "The thing I love most about technology is the power to connect people from all over the world," she says during Custode's AppTV profile interview.
