In addition to accessibility, overall user experience was paramount to the design of AMI.ca. The new website capitalizes on the AMI-player making it easier for visitors to access content, and shows have been segmented allowing users to watch a short clip instead of searching through full episodes. The search function has been greatly improved allowing users to search all programs and categories based on subject matter such as sports, business or arts. Additionally, visitors are now able to customize both the DV Guide and the AMI program schedules based on location and cable provider.
