Accessible Media Inc. is headed to one of Canada's biggest accessible technology events, and you can listen in.

AMI-audio Live will attend the a11yTO Conference on October 25 from downtown Toronto as The Pulse's Joeita Gupta meets with presenters and participants.

"It's important for The Pulse to be there," Joeita says. "The conference really is an extension to some of the themes and topics that we like to explore. We're all about big ideas on The Pulse and this conference is the opportunity to bring together content creators, movers and shakers in the field of digital accessibility."

The two-day event runs October 24-25 at Telus Digital on 25 York St. in Toronto, where over 300 attendees will receive accessibility training and attend lectures, demonstrations and lightning talks. Attendees learn more about digital inclusion and explore the future of accessibility in the digital space.

AMI-audio Live's 90-minute broadcast will feature conversations with a11yTO Conference keynote speakers—listeners will get to know them, their work and what they do for digital accessibility—event curators and attendees. The show will conclude with a live feed from one of the lightning talks.

"That will be pretty unique," says Andrika De Lanerolle, The Pulse's audio producer. "This will be a chance for people to get that on-location feel and to meet speakers and guests during the hype and energy of the conference."
