Canadian Vision 2020 Summit

Different cartoon hands hold up completed surveys

The Canadian Council of the Blind (CCB) and Fighting Blindness Canada are gearing up to host the Canadian Vision 2020 Summit in collaboration with other vision loss-related organizations.

The goal of the Canadian Vision 2020 Summit is to share with Canadians the key issues facing the vision loss community in 2020 and propose public policy and solutions to these issues.

In advance of the Summit, this group will publish three white papers that capture the key issues and challenges for our community, create a public dialogue on these topics, and explore potential public policy and solutions. The three white papers will focus on:

  • Vision Research
  • Experiences of living with vision loss
  • Issues of equity and access to vision health care

This group has created a questionnaire to gain input into what the white papers should say. Please take a few minutes to complete all or part of the survey to make your voice heard.

Complete the survey by January 10, 2020.
