Who we are

AMI-audio is an accessible television channel and streaming service offering a variety of compelling stories and engaging original content to Canadians who are blind, partially sighted or otherwise print restricted. What we do

AMI-audio produces three daily live programs, Live from Studio 5, The Pulse and Kelly and Company. Live from Studio 5 airs weekday mornings, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Eastern and brings you news of the day, technology and current events. Tune in for regional blind and partially sighted community information as well as segments with political commentator Craig Oliver, environmental commentary with blind fisherman Lawrence Gunther and described video picks with TV, eh?’s Greg David. This show is available as a podcast.

The Pulse airs weekdays at 1 p.m. Eastern. Join host Dave Brown as he explores news and information from the disability community across the country. Advocates, entrepreneurs and community organizers gather together to bring you empowering information so you can make informed decisions. Subscribe to the podcast

Weekday afternoons at 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern catch Kelly and Company for arts, entertainment and lifestyle information directly affecting the blind and partially sighted community. Contributors across the country share information on everything from nutrition and finance to fashion and community events. Plus, hear about the latest in audio books and accessible technology. This show is available as a podcast.

AMI-audio brings different perspectives on living with vision loss through  a number of original programs.
